Thread killer?

I had not meant for my post to be a thread killer.

I hope that everyone is just out riding.

It sounds like Tim should be coming home today if all goes well.

Some riding both, Mtn Bike and Dirt bike... I rode the KLR to work the other day. Does that count?

I rode my Downhill bike a bunch last weekend at Duthie park for about 4.5 hrs last Sunday in Issaquah. Riding my XC Mtn Bike tonight at Beacon.

This weekend is the annual KLR Land Roamers Annual meet up outside of Newport.

Any high elevation trail riding going on this weekend? I'm ready.

I'm riding Packsaddle, over in CdA National Forest on Sunday. I haven't ridden it before, though my buddy Dylan and Andrew have. Its technical and gnarly, but I hear its a lot of fun.

If you want to join, let me know. Knowing us, we'll be leaving relatively early.

Hi Paul, if you are at the Rally on Saturday I'll see you there. Could only get one day off work, this will be my 4th year.

You and Rico showed us the easy way to change a dirt bike tire last year.

Mtn biking counts, I have two....... I'm trying to put a motor on them so that I ride them more. The seat on both my bikes is worse then my KLR. Too narrow, not very compatible with my wider seat.

Not going to make it this year. Got some stuff to do Saturday, and then the ride mentioned above Sunday. Have fun and say hi to all the folks up there.

Just remember when changing a tire at a KLR rally, nothing but the cheapest of beer should be used to seat the bead.

Good advice, I only buy cheap beer.

Probably not in this camp. Trying to convince the wife why I need to go riding three weeks in a row without taking her might be met with opposition. Unless anyone wants to babysit?

Moose are big critters for sure. I'm used to them from my snowmobile days. They like the snowmobile trails and always have the right away.

Hyder has changed it's being paved , Caroline is gone, and the place is full of tourists. The road to the boardwalk is paved and full of bear watchers. We went out there and the boardwalk was packed but no bear showed up. We did see a half dozen of them on the Cassiar though We didn't make it to Salmon Glacier.

I don't think we will be getting to your neighborhood.
Congratulations on your ride. Nice meeting you at the gas station yesterday. I think we may have met before though. Where you one of the lady's in this picture taken back when Chanderjeet was in Seattle:

That's that wonderful LadyBug on the F650. Right side of pic as you are looking at it.

Hey RonS

Thank you. It was nice meeting and chatting with you as well.

Perhaps we did meet at the get together for CJ at Dan's house. If you were outside when CJ was riding around the driveway on a 650 giggling like a little girl that was my bike he was on. The same bike I was on yesterday when I saw you at the gas station. That picture rekindled some good memories.

Keep on eye on this thread and if you are in town the weekend of the 28th come out and get together with us for a ride.

It hasn't been posted yet but Kootenai Rider and I are plotting a ride for that weekend to see if we can get some of the Spokane/Cda group togther for a day of playing before fall hits hard and winter blows in.
