She-foot is a cool ride, I worked out of that area for 6 years.. There's a myriad of trails you can take to it off a dirt bike. In fact; there were two years in a row where I was the first motorcycle on Shefoot.

I was there years ago and have been meaning to head back. A buddy of mine used to make a yearly trek past there with some friends; they would start at the Snakepit, ride to Avery on mainly single track and 2-track, fuel up with cans they dropped off the day before, then head back, all in the same day. He said it was around 130 miles of trails. What sounds fun in your youth definitely sounds different when you are older.

Merry Christmas!

I'm not a Christian, but I'd like to wish all my friends who are the very best of the holiday season to you and yours.

And, I'd like to share as a present the best rendition I've ever heard of the greatest motorcyle song ever written.

I was running down the road (see location) and came across a mule deer dow and fawn. This is pretty rare as most are white tail...anyway rather than chase them down the road I stopped and had a bite and drink. In the winter while snowmobiling it is common for moose to want to run down the snow packed road for miles...the only way you can get them off other than turning around is to pass them...very exciting!!...anyway this was the case here too... the dow had sense to finally get off but I needed to get past the fawn...you can hear me yell "come on ...give it up!!!"

As soon as you came off your pegs and lost your speed you were stopped and stuck....our excuse was we had heavy bikes but it was just to steep and rocky...
