Does anyone in the Spokane area have a car lift in their garage/shop I could rent for a few hours some weekend afternoon? I'm doing the Tundra front brake upgrade on my 4Runner and it would be much more fun with a lift. I also want to pull the skid plate when I have it in the air and clean things up. The guys that changed my oil recently didn't bother to remove it and when they took the filter off it made quite a mess. It left a huge puddle of dirty oil on my garage floor the first night and has left smaller spots every night since. I really hate paying for half-assed service.

Let me know how this goes, I have a 4Runner and I've been thinking about this upgrade.

I would, but Santa just doesn't listen sometimes. I swear that old man needs his hearing fixed.

I just got back from Missoula and visited my 36 year old nephew that is riddled with cancer and should pass this week...so my bubble is off. Here is my point. We all so much to be thankful for...I am mostly lecturing to myself...Happy New year give yours a hug and love...life is precious!

godaddygo, sorry to read about your nephew. I wish there was something I could say to help but there isn't anything. Thoughts to you and your family.

XR4EVER, Santa didn't bring me what I asked for either. Maybe he was on strike this year. Either that or you and I have been very bad kids.

Happy New Years everyone! Mrs. Old Fart and I are staying home and watching the last third of the Lord of the Rings.

If you go out, please drive/ride carefully!

Hey Paul, You know this guy?

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1821599

His trailer job has been an inspiration for what I want to do.

Mine won't be filled with RC models though.

Well maybe one.

If you have access to or know someone they have a great self help auto shop on Fairchild AFB. There are about 10 stalls, most with lifts. Cheap rates, less than $5/hr. They have tools to lend and mechanics to answer questions at no cost.

To get on you need to be active duty, civilian employee on base, retired military, or retired civilian employee. Basically you need someone with a military ID.
