This is for Allan, Tim, Mr. Pickle and most of all Bruce who lured me out into the wetside sunshine.

Well OK since you asked.

Maybe if we call in the snow early it will get it done and out of it's system so we can have a snow free Hells Canyon in June.

I'm ready

I cleaned, oiled, and tested the snowblower yesterday. Got it already for SWMBO seeing that I'll be laid up for a couple of months, hehe. I might as well find whatever bright side of going under the knife I can. Ah, the life of leisure!

Dillon and AirheadBruce,

Wow, thanks for the replys on my weeping DR650!!

I've never delved this far into a motor and am a little leery. I need to order parts regardless. I sent Jesse at Kientech an email about this as well. When I get the parts, maybe we could develop a game plan??

I've said it before-this site and most of the folks on it are FANTASTIC!!

Thanks again to BOTH OF YOU!!

Pete

Bike repairs

Dillon has proven to be an outstanding wrench for me on my Dakar. He soon will be rebuilding the Bings, plus lots of other stuff, on Fiona, my '82 BMW airhead hack. I have met AirheadBruce twice and have heard much more about him. A real straight shooter. You'll be in good hands with these two helping you out.

Both of them are great. Let me know when you guys dive into it, I'm always good for an extra set of hands if need be, or to hold the floor down.

I'm kind of thinking we ought to turn this thing in to a wrenching/get to know you session. If this thing happens, I would of course provide some beverages AFTER we get my bike put back together.

Thanks again-all of you. YOU'RE THE GREATEST!!

Well, I'm located in Hauser lake, so maybe we should do the surgery wherever is closest to the patient? And when the patient is ready! Order the parts, gaskets, etc. and we'll get it done.
