He made them, along with lots of other custom parts. Skillz...

That is one tricked out 950.

Hey K2M, you should have a photo gallery of your bike and all the mods. I say that, but realize that it would be outdated often as your bike seems to be constantly evolving!

Time is my biggest problem. I do always take the time to photograph everything tho. There is a thread I started somewhere ......... ? Long time ago. The problem is most people want to see things they can buy. Not many want to make there own parts. In the past most of the rally trick bits were home made. Safari tanks (Aqualine) were fiberglass.

I like to see things I could buy, sure, but I REALLY enjoy seeing what clever folks come up with on their own for their own personal requirements. It's inspiring. Especially when they flat WORK. Talent.

Your bike, CJ's AWD, and Powercell's 990 SE are the most unique/intriguing/inspiring machines I've seen here, and I doubt I'm alone in appreciating a "guided tour" through a picture gallery and threads detailing these incredible modified motorcycles. Gotta love advrider for that!

Seeing the upcoming RC8 Gravel-Traveler is exciting, and Pete's rally tanks are gonna haunt me (and my bank account) I'm sure.

I hear you on the time issue... My thread is WAY behind.

No problems either way - every 950/990 Adv has some of that Rallye 950 DNA in them. Colours change as does our weight and hair lines.
I agree on the brilliance of some of the inmates here. Ken and CJ get my vote on excellence and there are a zillion inline thereafter who follow their visions. Suppose thats why those hotrod/chopper building shows do so well. (Without the yelling and chair throwing).
Anyhoo safari tanks are on the bike and Im about 2 weeks from a 4 week ride through the north of Aust. Cant wait.
Then the replicas are a go....

I would realy like to have a look at the tanks, and catch with a beer or three.

I've always wanted a set of rear tanks for my bike but my sub frame has been modified ( bent and twisted)
