Hi Rob,
Im thinkin I'll have a finished part around the start of March - (Ive just pulled the part back off the shelf). Just remember you'll need a GPR style exhaust and at this stage it wont work with the ABS equipped bikes. I have finsihed the CF bashie and mounts tho and it looks very "rallye" - gotta say im happy with this one. I'll post some pics later today. Pete

nice job by the way. Good old polystyrene - same stuff you get cold stuff packaged in. You can get it just about anywhere. Pete

Nice work Pete count me in for a bash plate too,i've been looking into the GPR exhausts too,I don't have to worry about the ABS let us know once you are ready with the tanks and i'm in.
I have a bit of a trip planned over easter and the extra tank range will come in handy. Thanks for having a crack and doing this.A lot of people whinge about why they can't get hold of stuff like this very few put the time and effort in to make it happen. Cheers,Rob |

Nice system,, I've got the GPR 2-1 on my ride, and the G-IT bashplate, but I really like the look of the plate here. I'd be interested in this set up if it becomes available . Also the rear tanks if that too comes into the light of the common man.

PM me about the $$$ if your interested. The bashie looks better on the LHS if you have the sidestand relocation as a few sell here. Mine is cut down to fit the stock placement - not as nice. Pete

OK - so were pretty close to final finishing/moulding of the tanks and my best guestimates are the tank and bashie will cost $1800 AU for the pair (+/- a little) - each on their own will cost a little more. I know its not finished yet but am interested to know who (if anyone) is really interested in these parts so I can maufacture the moulds accordingly. (Moulds for a couple of parts are vastly different to multipul parts). Ive got a list of 6 people atm who are in for both - anyone else who hasn't PM'd - let me know.
Please dont delete/move this thread - I'll put in a link to vendors when I have the final $$$ shortly. Thanks to everyone who has offered help or advise along the way. Cheers Pete

Rally tanks
Hey Pete,
I would love to know how things are going with those rally tanks. I have an 05 and would love to put some on me bike. Do you have a spot open in the vendors area? Also....just wanted to say thanks for spending all that time developing these really cool parts! ![]() Cheers mate. Grant |

Tanks Grant,
Still fairing the tanks, outside is done, but still have to do the insides. Nothing much to show atm as the progress is slow (its not my full time gig). Hopefully I'll have some more progress in a week or 2. Damn I wish I never added the cutouts for the pillion pegs - serious extra work...... I'll be converting to vendors shortly as there seems to be enough interest via PM's to justify spending the time making proper moulds and hence parts. Pete Quote:
