White Safari Tanks

Are the solid white (not the translucent) Safari tanks still being made and do they stay white or yellow over time?

Yellowing Tank

The only way I know of to keep your translucent tank from yellowing is to run race fuel. Perhaps there is an additive you can mix with pump gas to keep this from happening.

Where I live we are lucky enough to have gas stations that sell race fuel that I run in my dirt bike and my translucent tank is clear as new with no yellowing

that links shows "Colors: Orange, black, translucent white." but has white under the buying options. never seen actual white on any bike. i know they did a limited production run on blue, but no white to my knowledge.

here is my bike, with translucent tanks this past saturday. not as "white" as they once were, but wtf cares?

The drop down menu lists white, translucent/natural, black and orange.
Here is a photo. Not sure about availability.

Ha, if anyone wants black (tougher, meaner, etc) I would swap with translucent.

I have had mine on for about a year. I have to say I wasn't that impressed with the quality....around the windshield opening, where it is most notable, there were many tiny popped air bubbles which were filled with dark matter (why spend billions on a particle accelerator looking for it when it's right there!!?). I asked about exchanging them and was told there was just as good a chance that replacements would look the same. After a short time I remembered that I rarely wash the mud and bugs off anyway, so.....
it just annoyed me that you get that for $1600.
My thoughts are that the white will show these tiny open holes more than the other colors. Honestly don't even think about it now....about the best mod I have ever made to the bike.

I went to the warehouse to get my tanks...a long damn story...but every single white tank there had dirt in the tiny "pores"...did not look appealing to me. The orange did not match the rest of the bike. So I got the black ones.

My thoughts are that the black would add to heat or at least not help?

well can only agree. The build quality suck.

Airbubbles everywhere.

Though they are still build like tanks. Forget using the tip over, leg crushers. These tank can take a beating.

I've had my translucent tanks for a few years now and while up close they aren't perfect and I rarely fill them more than 8 gallons they are one of the best additions to my 990R. No crappy crash bars to deal with
