Hi,

A few months ago I picked up a Honda Fatcat.
Its in a very bad shape, and it needs lots of parts.
Do you guys know where I can get parts for this Honda?

Regards,

Röhrich

I hate to say this but really you aren't going to find new parts for what you need.

I just ordered an air filter and carb jets and that's not far off all you can get new.

Best thing to do is part that out or look for a runner and use it for parts. That thing is never coming back...

The bike looks completly bad, but it isn´t. The frame and elektrical stuff is good, also the cylinder and piston it looks like new. But I need those parts of the right side of the engine. The thing is, I don´t know exactly what parts I need because I have never seen them. And of course the parts don´t have to be new. Does someone have some pictures of the inside of the engine of the right side?

Simple answer

You won't get the parts. The price demanded for the few that exist justify buying a really good condition fat cat.

Hi,

I saw that the Honda atc200X 1986/87 has the same engine as the fatcat.
Is this correct?

My dad raced one in the 1987 0r 88 Blackwater 100.

they gave him the option to run with the ATV's or the bikes. He chose the bikes. Not fast, but across the mud bogs there was nothing better.

My brother and i used t o ride it also, we would have to help each other pic it up if we crashed. We were 11 and 12 and 100 lbs wet.

I was curious about the same thing, see thread HERE. The pics should be links to where I found them, but I haven't bought them yet. When I do, I'll post about it.

Thanks

I'm grappling with same issue.

The kenda k289(?) looks to be a great replacement front and rear.

As I clean my cat up I've noticed some over spray on the seat of white paint.

What will get that off the seat cover?

Also what are some good replacement foot pegs?

There is a Fatcat forum? Where? I just bought a restored '87 for my wife. She loves it, but info is rare. When things start to go pear-shaped I would like to know a source of help.

I thought there was a Yahoo fatcat forum.
The same as the Yahoo big wheel forum.
