I'm running the large db killers and the bike has come alive. Love the sound and improvement in all aspects.
I'm putting together an installation sheet and this will be included!

thanks again,
Andrew

Oh! Now you tell us, after I've put 6k on mine
BTW, did you use the optional (that didn't come with mine) large DBKs, or did you make a set yourself (I'm thinking of doing that)?

DGRS2 and my set came in the same package, ours had the small and large db killers included. I tried the small first , liked the sound, but it was pretty much about the same (just alittle louder) than stock, very good responce on the throttle. I then popped in the larger (diameter) db killers, and liked what I heard and felt. They stayed on . I've not messed with anything on the bike, jettting, carb (other than service) etc... . This is a stock set up, and the bike is running sweet. There still is a smell of a slightly rich mixture emitting from the pipes, so thats why I'm not messin with that end. The plugs will show whats happening in there on the next service. No popping, surging, dead spots, hesitation and so on. I LIKE IT. Get out and ride that nasty thing!

I WISH! I'm stuck on an island in the Pacific 3,000 miles of water away from my beloved Katoom until the 22nd

I JUST got back in from taking the 950 out for the first time this season.

Let me tell you. Those Wings exhausts are unbelievably sweet sounding.

Not too loud, but with a good growl. Great tone.

Also, I’m not sure it’s just first ride thrills, or what, but the bike seems to have a LOT more power. It really easily lofts in 3rd now. At first I thought it was just due to the bike only having 2-3 liters of fuel, but then I filled the tanks right to the top, and it STILL lofted the front in 3rd pretty easily. VERY impressive.

I thought all of the reports of cool exhaust cans were just hype, but, the proof is in the pudding. As soon as I got off the bike, I put my hand on the silencers, and they were only warm....Excellent!

So…I’m very happy with these...Highly recommended.

No...I don't believe in loud bikes.

I get enough bad stares just for going a bit too fast on the back roads...I don't need to compound the problem by giving the cottagers/farmers etc enough warning that I am coming for them to load their shot-guns.

I know what you mean. It sure sounds sweet though. Like an old bevel-head Ducati with Conti's. I put my baffles back in too.

Toy time ahead...

I am getting me some Wings at last!

Yup, tomorrow I'll be getting the money over to our man in Slovenia and some titanic tubes'll be making their merry way over to me in Scootland.

Can't wait for Xmas no.2...

Andrew, did you ever do the Dyno on them? I've not seen the outcome mentioned. Maybe it was toooooo disappointing?

Jem, waiting to set free the silver. (The groundbreaking pioneer colour).

Anyone got pictures of the Titanium fitted please? Ideally against "speedy" orange.

I think pretty much every picture in this thread is the Titanium against orange... not enough here for you?

On the 1st page, then more a few in. (3rd and 5th or 6th?)

But I go for silver, the original and best... colour of the 950 pioneers.

CPModem's I do believe, and just how I plan to be next week... except for the complete set of wing mirrors, ooops.

And from Andrew's Adventure Workshops page...
