I've never heard of THE turn.

I'm going to guess that it happened right about here http://goo.gl/maps/mGnOf it was sort of an uphill corkscrew as you first start climbing heading North.

Spot picked up a check in there anyway and it looks right.

there is one right hand turn that gets tighter and tighter if you are heading NE. Tends to take people out...

OK I'm just going to make one long post with a bunch of bikes pics...I'll make 'em smaller so they hopefully don't bog the page down too much.

It was actually a fun group....lots of gray hairs but hey, I'm about there myself.

There's even a camp puppy!

That's a Canada plate next to a Florida plate...there was also a California plate...that rode!

There you have it....one big old pig farm!

The hills are full of those!

I hit a big pothole yesterday at full lean in a reducing radius right hander riding down off Caesars Head...that was fun.

I packed up my tent Sunday morning after grabbing breakfast and a shower and rolled back out of the IH via Gunter Gap.....

The sun was struggling real hard to peek out through a foggy overcast.....

I did a bunch of zig-zagging on the run home....ended up riding down off Caesars Head (didn't stop for pics) and back up the Saluda watershed past Poinsette Bridge.

Down 176 and slabbed on home from there...

Here's Spot's outline.....he has trouble keeping up with a pig speeding along under the trees.

Such a pretty sine wave of a route though, don't you think?

Hopefully I can shake this sinus thing and get that old DR650 back together before Friday....looking forward to seeing y'all at the nottarally!

Hey Kevin, don't know if you've ever tried this, but I got it from an old Navy doctor in Charleston the day before she retired. I've always had on and off sinusitis. Turns out it is usually from post nasal drip generated either by allergies or sometimes constant transition in and out between A/C and hot humid outside air. Used to have to take antibiotics for bad cases.

The fix: Get a bottle of saline nasal spray and use it every time you think about it. Even if that is every 10-15 minutes. Keep the nose cleared out and the sinuses stay happy. I haven't needed antibiotics for sinuses since then (1992).

Thanks mark!

That's exactly what I did this morning...feeling better already, another rinse tonight and hopefully I'll be good to go.

....on another note...parts for the DR shipped to the wrong address....

It is actually but.....I don't think it's as much their fault as the shipper's. The local bearing house I ordered from moved their location a little over a year ago....looks like this particular vendor shipped to the old address. Of course this happens after they've also changed their policy on pre-paying for orders....

Lord only knows how long it'll take to see those bearings now!
