You may need to rethink this 10% less smart thing.
You could always go back to "not very smart"

Sorry for the guilt trip, I know not what I do.

I'll buy you a beer the next time we get together.

Nice series of shots.

Those green weeds are called Jimson weed or loco weed.
I use to raise burly tobacco and had them in the tobacco patch every year.
Link to more about it.

This morning I met up with a couple of fellow members of the notorious 'old guys from work' gang that had never been up to the 'cowboy capitol' know as Love Valley.

We saddled up and headed for the foothills a bit disappointed at the lack of fall color along our route....oaks just turn brown you know.

The entrance to town was about the brightest we'd seen all morning...

I didn't tell them they'd have to ride in on gravel!

Trouble on main street and it looks like the cops are breaking the most prominently posted law!!

I wouldn't get between these guys and their lunch if I were you!!

Away we go with bellies full of bacon cheeseburgers from the Silver Spur

That's just how we roll!

The afternoons will be extremely short from today til Spring

....so we have to start heading back towards home..we did leave enough time to take the back roads though.

Some fly-by shots.....

It's a bit surprising that there's more color to the South right now.

We took a nice big break here at Murray's Mill.

....a zillion pics of this place next.....

While the boys kicked back and took a little break I went on a little walk-about of Murray's Mill.

The water was running and the wheel was turning but they only actually grind once a year and today wasn't the day.....

Brown leaves......I guess brown is a color too?

They did a little bit of walking around too.

...and I laid down on an old grindstone and rested for just a second.....or two.

We didn't take the time for the tour today but here's a little peek through the front door.

We did take a quick peek at the gift shop though.....

Looks like I missed the 'Stills in the Hills' moonshine run as I was out in Oregon in Sep.

If she was smart she would throw those two old coots out the door!

I think it's just a replica.

So, you were 20 minutes from me today. Humph... Grumble. But, of couse - great pictures! Let me know when you are up this way again. I have fairly firm plans to ride near Ashevegas next weekend (weather permitting).
