Most tragic!

What an awful situation!
My condolences for your loss. You all must be in shock.
I can only say that time heals all. You will never forget, but the loss becomes easier to bear over time.
Peace to you and your family. Let the emotions flow -- it's important.

I am so sorry to hear this. My condolences to you and your family.

My parents are both elderly. My Mom doesn't drive anymore, upon my insistence. Dad probably will not be driving much longer. I hope that if anyone else out there has elderly family members, they will consider this and discuss the options with them. You may have to drive the around some, but that's not too big of a deal. I would sure hate to know it was my Mom that caused something like this.

I'm truly sorry. Elderly drivers that kill people should face manslaughter charges. Perhaps that will keep them off the fucking road.

Devin, I'm very sorry to hear about your father. There seems to be WAY too much of this lately. Prayers sent for you and your family to have the strength to cope with this unnecessary tragedy...it's going to take some time.

Rant away. This is the third WRAL article on a motorcycle crash I've read this summer-- all of them involved a driver turning left in front of a motorcyclist. Folks need to understand that they can kill people if they're not paying attention while driving.

I don't have a lot of riding buddies but would still like to do the BRP in NC. Thanks again.
Devin
Devin, I am very sorry for your loss. I can tell you from experience that you have a long road ahead of you in dealing with your grief. When your ready for that BRP ride feel free to PM me. I love the BRP and schedule permitting I would be honored to tag along with you, I am sure plenty of other ADV'ers would too.

My condolences. A horrible situation and I know how you feel. There is something surreal about it, you can not quite believe it. As a matter of fact, my buddy passed away that same Tuesday as well.

Wish you, the family, friends and loved ones all the strength.
