Little bit of a thread revival.... Entire seat has been sent off to have a:
"seat pan mounting bracket" (mouthfull)  fabricated; So that I can finally send the whole thing off to the upholstery shop. Then next stops' the paint shop! Stay tuned. And then it'll finally be done. Finally.

Just found this thread and read it start to finish. I have a 75/6 that I'm just getting ready to start making a cafe. I want it to look pretty much just like yours which looks great. Is it ok if I DM you if I have some questions?

Got the machine shop at my dad's work to fabricate the seat pan bracket.....
   Now that this is done, parts should be off to paint this Thursday! -Stay tuned. |

Alright.... Alright. Ya got me. I've been gone for a while but let me see what I have to put up for the moment.
The day they left for paint....  Muah!  Here's how she sits....   Pictures taken with iPhone.... Do not do it justice... The thing glistens a beautiful deep black. I love riding it, and even more so looking at it. Seat is going to be set to the Key-chain color. Wish I would of have the seat done by now, but I've been too busy bouncing around the country to even ride the thing! |
