Good stuff... Thanks for sharing... For some reason I like reading RRs that involve 640s...

What, no wheel bearing failures on the 800?

I thoroughly enjoyed the report. You guys struck a great mix between words and pics. Thanks for taking the time to put it together.

@tele-steve, kaia and nomad guy: Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it!

@Tall Mike and gunnerbuck: Next year it will be a 640 and a 690! Woo hoo!

@Deadly99: Thanks for the props. We'll have to do a FB assault of the TCAT as soon as the maps are out! Looking forward to it. If you haven't heard of the TCAT, check out this thread.

@Jamie: Yeah, seriously. If you spend too much time in Parallel Universe, you'd think I would have had to bring the bike back in pieces.

Thanks to everyone for reading our little tale.
Ride on.

Great job, gents. My riding buddies have been lurking along your story too - we've yakked about it a few times and will again on our next ride. Cheers

Great report. You guys cruised right through my stomping grounds. It is exactly 75 miles(70 dirt) from my house to the top of the Big Butte in SE Idaho. Great pics.

What happened to the pictures? I just found this report and need some pictures.
Explain to me again why enjoying life when I retire is more important than enjoying life now?
