escape to west java-Indonesia

i wanna share sumthin' with all you guys out there about my lovely country Indonesia...

i'll never consider myself as an adventurer..
i just love to ride...

and this is one of my journey finding pleasures for my self..

started from Jakarta at 6 a.m
took a 4 hours ride to Bandung (the capital of west java)

First Stop point @ puncak - Bogor




the trip it self has a various type of road...
straight and empty road where i can take my threno to it's full speed
and some are cornering road...
totally had my time there...
except in some spot there's a traffic jam due to market hours..

arrived in Bandung took a rest and met some friends of mine...
we're having lunch together...

@ 1 p.m
continuing my journey heading to Garut-West Java

it took almost 2 hour ride before the rain hit me hard and i must stop due to uncompromised circumstances..

took a motel...

get some hot water tub and relax...

it was mountain road...full of corners and blind spot
quite pumping my adrenaline...
not to mention all the buses and trucks who came in a sudden from the corner :)

day 2

went to kamojang crater...
there's 7 craters and 1 power plant

the road was slippery..stiff..

but the scenery was AWESOME










took 2 hours ride from my motel in cipanas to kamojang crater..

had a little problem there..
my rear brake are broken..

i must depends only on my front brake and engine brake

some point i must climb to almost 45 degrees - 50 degrees up road..
and some downroad in same degrees...

the cliff is next to me...
quite challenging..




back to the suburb and had my lunch there..

next day i went back to jakarta...

this is my first thread...

Very nice ride there. I worked out of Cilegon last year for 6 months, would love to have had a bike to explore on. Lovely people too

hi there jeff :)

Cilegon is quite an industrial city isn't it...
but there's a plenty of places if you wanna explore there..

if you prefer normal track you can go to sawarna beach...
it offers great view and pristine beach..not to crowded so you will have plenty of time for your self there :)

if you wanna go offroad
you can go to Ujung Kulon national park or tanjung lesung national park

if you don't have a ride...
