I am going to love this game. For the new location find this field in my town and turn left onto the dirt/rocky road. Less than 1/2 mile of dirt any bike could make it at slow speed.
![]() Down a short hill to a turn around and this gate. ![]() At the base of the tree, at the locked side of the gate, between 2 large rocks, you will find this old rusty housing. The lock is INSIDE the casing and concealed with some sticks. There are plenty of good trails all around this area but not legal to motorcycles. I wouldn't ride there on a holiday weekend !! I have GPS co-ords if anyone really wants them. Have a great, windy, weekend gentlemen! ![]()

I'll be too busy flogging the pig at the Pachaug camp-n-ride to get out there this weekend.

I hope someone has some interest and keeps this moving!!!
Just to clarify, the road that the tag is on is a 100% legal, open, town dirt road. It is the trails OFF of this road and beyond that gate that are closed to motor vehicles. |

New Tag
Nehantic State Forest
![]() ![]() Many Entrances this one is off of Route 156 just east of where I bought my boat. Yes it is a Cobia! The tags is about 9/10 of a mile in. You can keep going road is about 3 miles long just be careful there is a lot of loose gravel on top of the hard pack. ![]() Tag is located about 30 feet up the hill beyond the gate in some rocks. in the picture below the rocks are above (about 1"in the photo) the left post. ![]() ![]() ![]() I don't thing any critter has claimed this for his home but just check before you gab the lock! I have the GPS Coordinates if you need them. Good Luck!

OLD TAG - NEW TAG
Here's a picture I took after I found the lock. Nice job. Well hidden but easily findable. ![]() Here's the new tag. Technically, there's no dirt involved but things didn't go as planned. Jones hill road was all dirt - unexpected. I planned on putting it in the first campground off Fox Hollow Road but it was gated and big sign "reservations only", so I went with plan B. This is the entrance to the next campground on Fox Hollow. Oh yea, Devil's Hopyard State Park. I was going to put it all the way in by the turn-around but there was a camper there and no real place to hide anything. Clue - behind the bike by the guardrail, is a tree. Just look in the crotch of the tree - between the trunks and you'll find the lock under some leaves. Game on.
