Keep this thread about the deal and questions about the deal to the dealer, not about "is the 660 tenere coming to the States"... go to Thumpers and read all about it.. before you ask there too. Post punted.

Also, you want to talk about the XT1200Z, check out the Beasts forum..

We will only get 49 state models. We can't order the california models.

The bike come standard with ABS, traction control, and tubeless spoke wheels for a MSRP that is less than the GS would cost without any of that.

The luggage is not included and costs extra

I believe that the accessory skid plate and side panniers were offered with the bike in its initial offering i.e. first year in other countries (from a video I saw on youtube) but in later years and in the USA, all of these are accessories one can buy. For me, I'll get these aftermarket at a savings and probably better quality.

If anyone gets a lead on what the Yamaha panniers are going to run cost-wise, please post. Because they're std. equip on the Euro-only "First Edition" bikes, I don't think we've seen a Yamaha published price yet for them.

Although they probably are not as strong and well-built as the aftermarket panniers coming, I find there is often better integration with the bike with OEM accessories. Wasp's thread shows some very nice Trax boxes, but they sure look like they're wider to me.

MB,
Silver is not an option...... However, Crylon is cheap! The deposit is $500 by March 31st and I bet I can point out some good roads. May not all be dirt, but good ones anyway.

Sure we will take trade in's.
