I was planing to go out and check out the DSMRA on there next intro ride but It looks like there not having any any time soon I really really really want to do the Mt Elliot ride

Owning 650 DS bikes, I was actively discouraged from attending DSMRA events in Cairns. As to Culpa and Red roads, they run parallel to one another, from south of Ravenenshoe, to the Kirrama Range Rd( the road from Kennedy to Mt. Garnet)
Some years ago there was a landslide on Culpa Rd which blocked it for sometime, and the following wet season resulted in the de-rating of a bridge along the road to <1000 kg load limit. Herbert shire council refused to repair said bridge as they had no ratepayers living beyond said bridge. This ends the history lesson. As to the DSMRA issue - PM me to discuss

No thats my Australian Motorcycle Atlas.

left the boys at the Herveys range road, and went up through to Blencoe falls and kennedy ,down the highway home.

Having a beer, just got home.

The lake Dunn trip is coming up on the 16th -17th oct. Outback jack will have a cold beer waiting at his hut. should be an easy run 470k's there, mostly dirt. Be an idea to put ya name in so Pete know's how much fuel to bring up.
