How about making a printable copy? Will fill that out too and mail it in. What do you guys think? Ben
Hey Ben,

I already dropped it into the PO box and sent it back to Yamaha, with a lot of XT660Z info all over it!

"Hello! We always share this information with sales and our factory. The
tough economic times are not the best for introducing new models (it's
expensive to go through all the hoops to meet all import
regulations/standards). We have the 1200 coming in and I'm truly hoping we
will see the 660 too.

The next announcement will probably not be made till the spring but if
sales are strong ........ we might be in luck!

Regards,

Scott

I also called USA Yamaha Customer Service @ 1-800-962-7926.

The more people that call or email both the Canadian and US customer service the sooner we will see the 660 here.

The US rep said that she's been getting a lot of calls regarding the 660... keep it up!!! If there are any Canuck's reading this, email Scott and let him know that we want the 660!!

Keep up the great work folks!!! Keep calling!!

At least this is better then the facts today.....that we don't have a 660 in North America! I hope, fingers crossed of course that they say something in November at the Milan show.....after of course they announce the ABS XT660!!

Not that it's a direct gauge but.....some of the Super Tenere threads in the "Beast" section are well over 540,000 hits/views. Several of the others are well over 100,000. I would think Yamaha would see that and maybe, just maybe, put two and two together and say.....

"We should bring the XT660z Tenere over to North America too!"

Just say'in!!

Couldn't wait and bought a Suzuki DR650. I expect they'll announce a U.S. Tenere 660 any day now.

Xt660z

I rode my friend's Tenere in Europe in May. THIS IS THE BIKE I WANT!!!

Appreciate that someone is looking into the import idea. I would positively sign up to buy one.

Will contact Yamaha directly today.

They're taking pre orders. Just gotta put $500 down to reserve.

Tenere NOT Super Tenere

Devo 1 - we are talking about the 660 Tenere on this thread. Not the overweight Super Tenere.

That's a S10 and not the 660. At least the link that you provided appears to be.

The 660 isn't out in North America yet

Petition signed. I've got a WR250R and I love it, but I would also buy the 660 in a heartbeat.

For what's is worth, I called the Yamaha USA 800 number provided in a previous reply here and waited quite a bit and was able to let them know of my interest. I volunteered to put a deposit down, to leave my phone number and or email and they wanted none of it. I came out of the call feeling like we are a big inconvenience to them and like they don't take this seriously. WTF?

I'd sell one of my Triumphs for a 660. There is no bigger sacrifice I can make.

(The wife said "I'm not for sale")

Dont be discouraged, it's just the man trying to beat us down. I had a good experience with the rep I talked to.....I'm still holding out hope.
