Yeah, got home yesterday evening, knees are stuffed though, due to the big days in the saddle. Won't go back to work until Monday......bugger them.

The level of excitement on GSdog4eva's (Dave's) face says it all - no front mitas trouble? How was the fuel economy on this trip - any records broken? Tyre wear minimal

Eat your vegies Steve.

Thanks boys for your condolences. Glad to hear that I am not the only sucker for my pets.

Beautiful kelpie.

We got a new pup a couple of months ago named Paige who is a Staffy cross from Pet Rescue. We wanted a pet not worried about pedigree although our last 2 dogs were pure staffys. Hubby vowed that no more dogs as I get too attached, but he spoils Paige worse than I do.

It was sad on the morning after Spuddy went to doggy heaven as she went hunting for him. Made me cry watching her looking in the kennel and all around the yard for him. It has made it a bit easier having her as I still need to walk her and sometimes just cuddle her and cry for Spuddy.

"Pearly Mates" have contacted me regarding Spuddy mans cremation and were really kind. We now need to choose his casket which has been sad. I have not had any of our other dogs cremated before, but Spuddy is different and my sons insisted as he has been a big part of their lives.

Eat your vegies Steve.

A first pic Ray took had me looking a bit more cheerful, but only showed half of Steve, so a second attempt was made.

Tyres went well, it was only the new tubeless E07 for the big chookies that gave trouble. Ray ran an TKC80 on the front which did not wear very cleanly at all, but handled alright once he got used to the feel.

Fuel consumption was more than it should have been, but still OK for an airhead GS, it's jetted a bit rich and that will be looked at next week. Got a bit of shit in a carby jet which needed cleaning out just an hour from home, but apart from that, no trouble.

Only record broken was the amount of Coopers Sparkling, Dark and Tooheys Old consumed.
