Sorry forgot to mention, when you blow on them they jump towards you Make sure you have something like a cricket bat to fend them off.
Although if you don't go into that room and watch him who knows where he will end up tonight??????

Anyone who has pre-booked a room for the 2012 border run and hasn`t heard from them yet, better give them a call.

I received a call from a woman who has just taken over the bookings job and is trying to decifer the notes that were put in the back of the 2011 book that were then meant to be transferred into the 2012 book; she had me down for a room on Friday and Sunday, not the Saturday.

So as not to miss out on a room you thought had been booked, it will be worth a quick phone call.

Hi GSD4ME ....

I'm in again for this years run..

See you there ...

Sydney Drivers

World weary commuter that I am I thought I'd seen it all.

Battle hardened to the sight of text-and-drive, facebook-and-drive and of course the classic make-up-and-drive I thought I could shrug off the mindless lane changers, those with neck muscles too weak to do a head check and the criminally (and possibly legally) inept masses that careen down Sydney streets in 2 tonne four wheel drives with a heart warming mix of artful ineptitude and awesome disregard for the lives of everyone else.

Let me be the first to admit I was wrong.
I have found him, my moby dick and he has humbled me.

The laptop-and-driver

Not content with the normal douchebaggery of smartphone and drive or text and drive this yuppie smuck was actually on a laptop whilst driving his never-seen-dust 4wd through 80 k an hour traffic.

My first reaction was anger and then disbelief, one day this guy will probably drive right over someone like me and then complain bitterly about injustice when he gets a two year good behaviour bond, but I suppose you almost have to admire the sheer self-centered audicity of it....although those weren't the words I used at the time.

Cheer me up guys (and girls) share your stories of the woeful and hilarious drivers of Sydney (or at least suggest places to move to) and be careful, as good as ATGATT is their stupidity is greater still

Years ago, driving my truck along a freeway doing 80/90kph, got passed by a bloke in an open top sports car doing around 120kph [my guesstimate] steering with one knee, eating an open can of mixed fruits with a spoon for his breakfast [both hands off the wheel].

Another was a guy in a Jaguar, pulled up at the lights next to me [he was in the lane on my right], I looked across to see the girl in the passengers seat leaning across giving him a head job : the girl had a short dress and a cute butt.

And I recently nearly got taken out by a twit texting on his mobile as he blew through a stop sign.

You need to be super sharp to stay alive on the roads these days [I drive for a living so see lots of close calls on a daily basis].

Sydney drivers have a lot to learn, they are bloody amuteurs.

Both the rider and the bus driver went through a red arrow!

Dassantmata, so long as the horn works.

No doubt as a world weary traveller you can tell me the city that I shot this in.

And if you name the bar from which I was sitting in, (clue, a bloody crazy Colloingwood fan who had flown out ln 2009 to watch his beloved Pies win the Grand Final, and whose sports bar was covered in AFL photo's

I'll get the rider to deliver you free pizza's for a year

George and the Dragon, Prague? Pretty sure I got stopped by the local constabulary just near there - inadvertently followed a tram on the Burgman into the old town square around 3 and 1/2 years back.
