I`ve seen a similar thing around SE Qld, although not with a dead animal. Flash-for-cash vans hide behind sound barriers and some enterprising mud carters have dropped a couple of loads of dirt right where the vans set up.

Interesting result of budget cuts in Tassie, majority of speed cam vans have be operated by private persons, most were dumped in July, resulting in a drop from 3000 per month down to approx. 300 fines.......department is no longer publishing statistics........

Hi guys,

Is there anybody in Bendigo, Vic? I'm thinking of buying an old bike from there. I'd feel more comfortable to drive there with a trailer, if anybody could pre-inspect the bike. Of cause, not for free :)

If you are in Bendigo and have some technical skills, please PM.

Thanks :)

I did mine earlier in the week (last quarter I got a nasty letter because it was ONE day late) But I don't think it tasted minty, it was a more bitter, nutty taste and while I've never tasted shit I would imagine this is what shit would taste like.

A bit like you imagine the ATO would taste like after bending us all over and ramming us our whole working lives.

Good job the ATO doesn't get on this site and look for comments like this and then go back over past discussions about 'legitimate' tax deductions.

Did you cut your tongue on the sharp bit of the envelope while your hands were shaking???

Sad news, the East End cafe has closed in Cooma I have had many, many feeds there over the years, apparently it closed down 6 weeks ago

On the positive side, I can highly recommend Cafe 40, right at the roundabout. this is the same girls that used to be out at Nimmitabel.
Also, for those going to the Snowy Ride, theres a ACDC band on at the Alpine next Friday nite

Cafe 40 brekky
