No idea Dave, when you say you clicked the Thumbnail on your computer screen, that could mean a few different things... is it a Favourite/Bookmark on your browser or a "Sticky" on your home page or a quicklink from your Windows desktop?

Aah, yes, it was one of those things, not certain which one. . Anyway, I have it up and running again, so all is well.

I am treating a remark from a certain Western Australian inmate with disdain.

No new shiny stuff, it was pretty much finished when I got it. Only thing we are doing is getting the ergo's and ride set up properly.

I've had the seat done by John Moorhouse and have raised the bars and brought them back a bit. Put the third set of fork springs in it today and adjusted the rear shock. Will run it for a couple of weeks like it is and maybe put in a set of Standard fork springs to see how they go. Ray has recently bought another GS and has a set of forks he imported from the UK; along with the springs that were in my bike, all of them are different, so I am trying them all to see what suits me.

I haven't forgotten about going out to see your dad, just not able to scratch myself lately......so bloody busy.

Haha all good, he's the same, my grandmother (his mum) is visiting us for a few months and heads back to South Africa in a few weeks so until then I'd say he's got plenty on his plate anyway.

Good to hear your bike is all sorted, they're nice old bikes

Relocating to Brisbane

Howdy All, unfortunately it looks like I may have to relocate from Melbourne to Brisbane in the next two to three weeks to remain employed. Not ideal but l need to work and remain employed in the industry I'm in.
I'm 41 and the role will have me once again travelling frequently. I am looking for accomodation options, either short or long termish. it's likely I will be there for two years. I travel light and will be leaving my place behind furnished. Will be bringing the Tenere and GSXR but the RMZ will have to be sold as I believe you can't ride them offroad in Qld.
I'm looking for accomodation options, a granny flat, studio apartment etc for a single 41yo Proffesionl. I will be spending lot of time flying back to Melb. I suppose once I get there I will be looking for people to ride with as well. If anyone is aware of anything available close to Coopers Plains, Acacia Ridge etc I would love to hear from you.
I'm also a mad fisherman and diver and at this stage not sure if l will be dragging my boat up.

Nothing unfortunate about having to move to GodZone, JD!
If your RMZ doesn't have an ADR plate, then it can't be registered in Qld yet. There's still plenty of places to ride it, if you know where to look.
Can't help with accom on the Southside, but if you look at areas east of Ipswich Rd you'll be good - close to Moreton Bay, not too far from work and the sea breezes tend to keep it cooler than places further west (Ipswich etc.).

Best Places for changing money in Sydney

A friend needs some foreign cash (GBP) prior to leaving for Europe. Has anyone done the rounds on all the places (The big four banks et al) to change money and worked out the best current place to go?
