My "leader of the opposition" has just today jetted out for 5 days in Broome with a girl friend. Leaving me carrying the baby (well he's 2 1/2), literally What could possibly go wrong. She was more nervous than me as it's her first night away from the little tacker since he was born. You could say she's earned the break.

Balmoral, Broken Hill or the Vic Park. I'm easy.

That is fantastic and I am sure that you will have a lovely time with your son.

Thankfully times have changed since the 60's - 70's fatherhood when the dads seemed to work and had very little to do with the raising of their children.

Some dads today are even stay at home dads and their partners work full time if they have a higher earning capacity. Makes heaps of sense.

The first time my Missus left me alone with the kids while she went away overseas she was a complete nervous wreck.

Go..have fun..we'll be totally fine...don't be silly nothing will go wrong....

I took the kids to Maccas on the way home from the Airport as a treat...my 3 year old goes arse over cactus on the kiddy slide and fractures his arm....

Lets just say I had some explaining to do.

Good work that will instill strong disiplin and incapacitate them to make it easier to look after

Already hand washing is down and snack bars are up. And sure have as much "Wiggles on the iPad" as you want mate. I think I'm being used.

I call hear them talking with the waiter now.

"You look so hot today. Like a sunrise"

"You're naughty, Ketut"

If she comes home with a lifetime rating 1 you'll know she should have stayed home with the kids.

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

Blood nose. For no reason I can see and its never happened before.

No need to tell mum mate. Would you like a fruity bar? And more Wiggles on the iPad.
