There's a 97 at the local Honda dealer for $1500. Been thinking of grabbing it but I reckon the wife will skin me if I come home with another

Really? Not too many families I can think of fit that bill! They'll know me I'd say, this is Wellington after all! As a town it really is nice, everywhere has bad eggs and it is not disproportionate here.
Let your folks know about the gig and I hope we see you and them there!

To be frank about things - and in defence of the mod in question who moved the thread in first place - IF you go and READ the first post in the original thread that is referred to... http://advrider.com/forums/showpost....01&postcount=1

THEN you will see that it is the OP himself that in the very first line of the post - asks the moderators/admin to move the thread to an applicable build forum if there is such a thing... which they obligingly did.

Done mod bashing?

Been over there too long Troy, "cuzin" has a slightly different meaning, certainly in this area... But it fits in down the road where people aren't so politically correct!

So, that would make you, what? My second cousin's uncle's brother's butcher's wife's mother's son?

I agree with you, I too am a fan of the KLX 700 thread (and the 1991 XR600 rebuild thread for that matter)... but the OP ASKED FOR THE THREAD TO BE MOVED (as is his perogative) and the mod (no - not me) simply obliged.

There... hope you did not miss it this time.
