Before you go attacking anything, remember your on an almost 40 year old bike with minimal suspension. A sneak attack might be in order...........

What a great project! I'll be following until the finish line. One thing I'm puzzled about; I always thought the Mexican 1000 was a car race from the 1950's. Hudson Hornets and such. What race was that?

I'm guessing you're thinking about the La Carrera Panamerica aka the Pan Am Race

Chilly, thanks for adding more fuel to the fire. I enjoyed looking at the pictures and had to look up Mission San Javier to read more about it.

I've already been plotting how I can ride down to watch OregonCoast cross the finish line and pictures like that just add to it.

I already have one victim - - - - I mean volunteer to ride back with me so now I just need to find people to ride down with. I figure if I can find about a half a dozen patient people to take turns with the Ladybug duty no one would be stuck with me for too long.
Even if I don't make to the race I will certainly be cheering virtually.

Go OC Go ! ! !

From New Plymouth it is in his back yard ... the problem would be getting it all the way across Oregon to you :-) Maybe relay it ... if someone will take it to Bend you can pick it up there

Found this nice commercial featuring the Honda SL.

Even John Travolta appreciates the classics

Good things happen on a Honda! (I hope)

Or this one with an XL350 and a priest:

Music reminds me of "On Any Sunday," and I'm sure that's no coincidence. Now where did I leave those bell-bottoms and platform shoes....
