Ninja 250's slay the dragon

Ok, here are some of my pics...

This is my bike right before i got to pigeon forge. pigeon forge is a strange place, and i was not expecting it to be such a tourist trap.

One of the reasons they call it the smokie mountains.

The Deals gap resort. There were tons of bikes here. Labor day after all, its kidn of cool to go up and down the resort checking out different peoples bikes. i even met a adv rider on a bmw gs adventure.. shocker. But he was from Maryland and even participated in some cat herders thing and that photo contest thing that they do here.

This guy clearly has been riding pretty hard

Here comes Raybot on ninja 250

Piagio mp3. Two girls were riding this one. I think its growing on me. I actually kidn of like it. Id love to take it on the dragon to see how those 2 wheels handle. But i hear its as easy to ride as a regular motorcycle.

The Tree of Shame :(

Dablue1's helmet sticker.. 2$ a pop for these decals

Inside the deals gap resort restaurant. Suprinsingly it wasnt that expensive to eat here. 7$ salmon burgers were good. I think it was the only hot meal i had the entire time i was there.

Inside my tent.. The nights were extremely cold for some reason. But worth doing. I spent 25$ per night at the KOA, which was expensive, but the area was really clean. There were assholes on harleys that loved to rev for 30 mins each morning. Not sure why the hell they wanted to wake everyone up. But in deals gap, it seems that bikes are super loud. And its not just the harley guys that are guilty, alot of the sportbikes bikes are annoyingly loud.

KOA campground. You can see my tent and bike in the background.

Every morning there was alot of smoke coming out of my exhaust. It quickly stopped. Kind of fun to look at

A old harley from 1947... the guy had the bike on even while off. His kick started came off. It was neat to see such a classic. The shifter looked like a cars shifter, it was on the left side.

This guy on the goldwing dropped it while getting and merging onto the dragon, his wife was also on the back.. Embarassing..

The ninja 250's liined up.. nice pic even if i have to say it myself :)

Da blue has his huge bookbag with his gear. Me, i like my saddlebags that seem to work pretty well. I know his back must of hurt after a while.

I waited around a corner for the troops, and shot some photos of the guys going around the turn. All th enice turns were filled with professional photographers.

A nice green ninja, before i didnt like the green ones. But now i really like them. Even the blues look nice.

Special edition ninja 250

A 1998 triumph tiger with some rash. I used to own one, except mine was a black one. I still like the steamer tigers the best.

Cool pics, Scorch.
I've been riding a Ninja for two years now, and I agree with you about the ride. Thanks for including the Ninja forum website, too. I'll check that out. I'm planning to get a new bike soon. I need all the insight about rides I can get.

Thanks . . .

Keep ridin',
JustJack

Great ride report! Hopefully, we'll cross paths while riding in 2011.

I want another Ninja.

Scorch . . .

I want another Ninja, probably a new ZX-6R so I can handle it offroad. I'm not a big guy, so I want it to make a difference when I put my foot down. (That's what I tell my wife, too.)

Keep ridin'
