Singletrack Ride in northern AZ

Phoenix is still too darned hot right now so a few of us decided to meet up with a Flagstaff local to show us some trails. The Flagstaff guys (Coconino County Riders) are doing a great job building/maintaining trails in the area!

We only got to ride a portion the trails due to some fires over the summer, but what we did ride was spectacular. Lots of tight and technical singletrack to be ridden!

I took along my GoPro Helmet cam and put together some footage from the full-day of riding:

gorgeous pic's- hate to say it but about 90% of existing Flagstaff singletrack is scheduled for closure under the new Coconino NF motorized use plan that goes into effect in a few months.

The Coconino Trail Riders have done everything right up there and got the royal shaft from the Forest Service.

A pathetic version of "forest management" by our government.

Join the Coconino Trail Riders if you want to help them in their efforts to make some litigious noise.
