Removing cockpit fairing set up

hi

I have just got hold of a nice standard r65ls with the cockpit fairing fitted.
I want to take this off and go for a more classic set up of separate headlight etc. I would like to keep it looking stock bmw so question is, has any1 done this and could you advise as to the best model to source parts from,,ie headlight set up and plastic surround for the clocks?

Many thanks

Kevin

R65 stuff is about the only thing BMW wise that will work. Check it out on an online ETK. I frame mounted a RS setup on my LS and ditched the tach and put the idiot lights in the /6 style headlight. A little later I fabbed a setup to use handle bar mounted windshields mounted to the frame mounted headlight/fairing mount. Great setup but it takes some fab skills/equipment. Otherwise I would stick with R65 stuff.
