I'm interested in a kit for the F800GS. Is the foam firmer or softer than the stock seat? How does it compare in height?

The seat is the same height as the stock flat seat, we just shape a flat spot into it that extends the natural seated position toward the rear of the seat. It ends up resembling the BMW low seat, but ours is much wider.
The foam is probably close to standard density to the touch but is of a much better quality. The added width really spreads out the load and improves the comfort considerably, but we can make it as firm or soft as you want.

I would like to send my seat in to you for the special seatconcepts makeover. Where do I send it and do I just need to put instructions in the box with the seat?

Well like I said, technically our seat is not a low version.
We started with the flat seat and just leveled out the seating area.
However I am going to start working on a seat with out the step, this will make it a little taller than stock to accomadate a flat seating area. The main complaint with these bikes is that the seat is tilted and you constantly slide forward into the tank.

I'm interested in a kit to build on the stock seat pan (spare).

Currently running with a Corbin that came with the bike. While the density is comfy, it is slick, sloped, and cupped from the middle back. So, I keep sliding forward on it when slowing down and the transition from raised edge into the "saddle" create some pressure points at my inner thighs when I slide back on it.

The bike is a KTM 950 Adventure, and I'm interested in a seat that allows me to sit where I want without sliding into the notch. The only photo I saw for an Adventure seat before the website makeover began seemed to be a lowered version (though it had an ample flat area and might work).

Do you offer a standard kit (non-stepped) for this model?

If so, do you have a photo to share?

Also interested in any comments from other 950/990 customers who are over 6' tall.

Thanks!

Right now we only have the low version. But the pocket of the saddle is shaped so the it helps with the sliding forward.
We have plans for a version of the flat seat, but it is still a ways out yet.

Any progress here?...I really want ot order but dont want the big step in the seat...want a flat seat from back to front using the back of the seat as a starting point...

I'm waiting anxiously....
