I use a Heavy duty stapler for drywall , heat the plastic up a lil with a hairdryer , makes it a bit softer , push hard and fast when firing

I forgot to post pictures of my new seat. Textured cover with orange stitching. Very sweet...

Tried an arrow hd adjustable stapler today still no decent penetration. Even let the pan sit in the sun til it was plenty warm.

I did a littly shy of 200 miles today, 2/3 offroad - first ride on the seat. Picture was taken before I put the heat shields back on...

It's a marked improvement over the oem seat and has to be one of the best seat deals out there.

I just received the SE seat foam and cover and want to tackle the job myself. Anyone with knowledge or a how-to?

Looks like I just use a standard office staple remover, probably tear off the old foam (which I expect will be glued to the pan). Replace with the new foam (and what kind of glue??), then cover, glue, and staple into place with a standard staple gun.

The only trick I anticipate is making sure the cover is tight, snug, and even. I would love to know whether to staple the front first, or the sides, or do one full side, then pull tight over to the other side, etc. Any tips appreciated!

I just ordered one of your kits for my KLX250S, can't wait for it to get here! Are there plans to do a kit for the BMW X-Challenge?

KTM seat height options

I also would like to see higher KTM 9** Adventure seat options—at least same as stock and preferably a bit taller. If anything I'd like to gain a little height from the pegs as I am 6' 3". I believe it was mentioned earlier in this thread those options may be coming—just wanted to put in my vote!

Just got mine and did 3 hrs on Sat and 2.5 on Monday. What a difference! My stock KTM seat startes to bother me within 30 minutes, and was excruciating after 1.5 hrs. Then my tailbone hurt for days- badly. The new seat is fantastic. I have very minor tailbone discomfort after 3 hrs, and no pain the next day. Great investment!!

Got offered one of the Seat Concepts pre-production kits for the V-Strom 650 this week. After talking with Robert via email for several days, I think we got it all worked out regarding foam firmness and such. Pulled the trigger on it tonight and ordered it. Now just anxiously waiting for the kit to come in.
