Yes they are a special order, on a big bike like the the 990 it would be a $125.00 upcharge.

Question KLX250S Short Seat?

Bundy,

I see you offer the standard height KLX250S seat. Do you offer a short seat as well?

Thanks,

Scrambleon

Thinking about ordering a Versys seat. I noticed a couple of material options. What is the most popular?

I see one with holes all in it. Is that the regular? Any pics of the Carbon Fiber?

Is it a pain to install? Seems worth it too me to let you install it but I hate to wait to ship the seat from South Carolina and back. I have a regular staple gun and one that plugs in.

I want to order a KLR seat and a KTM 950 low seat foam only. How do I do that on your site? I've ordered twice before for a 950 and a XR 650R and love the seats. Thanks.

We special order the leather in for each job, although we always have black, red and blue.
What colors were you interested in.

The embossed ( the seat cover with dimples) and the all carbon would both be considered the standard covers for this model (we keep both in stock)
As to the all carbon, I do not have a pic of one installed for that bike. We always ask for customers to send us pics, but hardly any do.
The install for this bike is a little harder than some, but not so bad that we feel the average guy couldn't do it. It is important to take your time and get the cover really warm in the sun before installing it. The electric gun may work, but the job is much easier if you have an air gun......http://www.harborfreight.com/20-gaug...ler-68029.html is the one we recommend and it uses T-50 staples.
If you do not feel comfortable, see if a local upholstery shop can do the install.

I just went 1400 miles on mostly gravel in Co, Ut, and Wy.
Best upgrade of the trip. My seat!! Made it very nice. More comfortable than the Sargent seat I have on my GSA.

Would a repeat customer get a discount if ordering again within a few month time frame?
