When will the next one be ready?

Same height/thickness as stock?

How does the density of the foam compare to the KLX250SF seat I got earlier this year?

Thanks-

Rob

The next one is already out of the mold!!!
It is essentially the same height as stock, we did build up the front to level the seat out, but the spot where your but goes is unchanged.
We widened it out for seating area.
As to the density, that is hard to say. Each seat has its own mix, so the density is different for each model.
The standard one for this bike will be softer than one for the KLX, it has more surface area to support the rider. So it can be softer.

+1 Really want to give this seat a try. Is it dished out a bit? My only real complaint about the stocker is the forward slant, needs a bit more surface area in the rear and dishing.

Thanks,

Mark

KTM 640 Enduro - Duke as well

I meet Lendon at a dualsport ride and he agreed to help me out with my seat.

This seat has the special "V" shape to the front, it's a little different than the adventure seat.

Here is the result, I haven't been able to try it riding, but garage test for now is really good for my ass.
Pictures are better than words... so here is it.

Just got my seat put together on my KTM 640A

I took it for a test ride and cannot believe the difference this has made.

Installation was a snap, I bought the air stapler from Harbor Freight for something like $25 shipped and it worked fine on that Austrian plastic.

I have a wr250r and want a new seat. The problem I'm having is picking the cover material.
I have a Super Tenere that had a gripper seat and could not stand that.
It now has an embossed cover and that is slick as snot.

Do you think the solid vinyl would be the best all around cover? Not too slick and not too grabby?

Thanks,

Oh, I called you about a year ago about the Tenere seat, but it was not in the works, so I had to buy something.. lol

FZ6 Seat

I know you are mainly interested in doing adventure bikes, but I think you are missing a big part of the market by not doing sport tourers. I have boughten a DR 350, DR 650, XR 650R, and a KLR seat from you and have loved them ALL! Completely changed the bikes. I now have an 06 FZ6 and my seat isn't as good as the enduro seats you make. Do you think you would have any interest in doing an FZ6 seat? I could send mine out to you for you to do the mold since my bike will be down for a rebuild this winter. I would be willing to pay too!

PM me if youre interested.

Thanks,

Andrew

Yes the standard vinly or the all carbon would be good choices.

My new seat :-)

Thought I would post a photo of my new seat.

Many thanks to Lendon for making me a seat for my KLR with carbon sides and plain vinyl top. I'm really happy with it and the service couldn't have been better.

Cheers to all,

Pete

Thumb 2009 KLX250S Custom Short Height Seat

Bundy,

Thanks for setting me up with the custom short seat for my 2009 KLX250S. It is a big improvement in comfort and seat height. The rack also worked out great.
