Question

Sorry if this has been asked before, but...

I have a Seat Concepts seat being delivered to me atm for my KLR650 and I was wondering if there were any instructional videos on how install the new foam and seat cover?

Type "how to reupholster a motorcycle seat" into google - lots of youtube and text hits. But as said, it is also fairly easy. Just keep looking at the fit of the cover, then turn over and staple, turn over and look, etc. Takes maybe an hour. If it ain't looking right, just some new staples and do-over.

I usually pull the cover onto the nose of the seat, then put a couple staples into the back end to keep things centered. Also usually have to pull those staples about halfway thru because the end-to-end stretch has changed - but centering is well established by then.

Yes, we sell just the covers all the time. Reasonable too.

Hey Bundy can I try using your foam with my OEM cover? I will figure I probably have to shave it bit. Would I even want to do that?

I'm trying to keep the stock seat look but that may or may not be possible.

All I know is that the comfort of the OEM foam SUX in a massive way!

I am pretty sure we can get the stock cover on, maybe have to sew a strip around the bottom though!

Rec'd my pair of Seat Concepts products today ,

Damn They look good , Very happy with the Craftsmanship , Turn Around , Style , Feel , Customer service , Fit , and Price .

Here they are .

I ordered 1 with a Carbon Fiber top and 1 with regular vinyl ,

Here's 1 of the seats next o the stock seat ,

Gotem on today and hopefully be able to try them out over the weekend .

Very Happy with the aesthetics .

If , and I'm sure they will , ride 1/2 as good as they look , I will be completely satisfied .

I will report back here after a few hours of ride time .

.

Gotta say I was able to do 3 Hours or so before I started feeling any pain , before the Seat Concepts seat 45 minutes was about all I could go before Stopping to regroup .

I am Totally satisfied and Recommend this product to anyone for any application .

These Guys no what the heck they're doing , Thats for sure.

I'm looking around the garage now to see what else can be re-foamed covered .

Is this the single or 2 cylinder model? But either way we have a tall for each bike.
