Relax guys, these are only going on the more performance orientated smaller dirt bike models, and then only on the Gripper covers.
So if you want and understated seat cover, they are still available and are not going anywhere.

Bad move, Seat Concepts!
What model did you order?
If its not your cup of tea, I understand and will offer you a complete refund.

The seat tag can be removed with a X-acto blade.

I ordered one for a XR650R, regular vinyl, so I guess I should be ok?

Many thanks for your offer, Bundy! I'm very happy to know that you have good customer care, which together with a good product spells success. I totally agree with Fakename, nothing I would want more than to see you do good business, and when I get the seat tested with my princess bum, I will certainly help spread the word.

I also think your awareness of the brand placement and recognisability/visibility is good, but I do however think that you've underestimated peoples particularities when it comes to design and color. You've chosen a fairly clear blue, a primary color almost, and it will therefore in most cases interact badly with the bike color, or just stick out in a very obtrusive way, not many would appreciate.

I do realize that the MX scene is a different animal, but for the non-mx segment, I believe you will be peeing the majority of people off.

Perhaps for this segment, if possible, you should consider text/shape instead of color? I actually really like the tag on the side. It's simple, unobtrusive, and together with the good craftmanship (I've only seen in pictures so far) it indicates a compelling sense of quality, that the blue dot does not offer. The tag definitely go down well with most, if not all people ...

Sorry, that was a rant. I can't wait to get the seat for the Pig, and test it! Thanks again!

(I work in advertising, by the way, which is absolutely no reason to think my statements have any relevance whatsoever :)

Personally, I love your product, I admire your courage in bringing a product to market, and all my friends rave about them. The only negative thing I've heard about your products is that logo, and that was from a previous customer.

We are all on your side. We all want your business to be successful, we all want your products. But looking at the immediate response in this thread, not everyone wants the oversized logo on their bikes.

With humility and respect,

I agree. I would even go so far as to pass on the seat if I were forced to accept that on my BMW cover. Here is the one I installed, and is on my upcoming Accessories Video.

Having a large colored logo in the middle of this seat would not be attractive IMHO.

Jim

PS I see that it is not on all seats. That is good.

Logo?

So just to be clear, that large colorful logo in the middle of the seat will NOT be on the cover I order for my BMW F800 GS. Not to be a snooty BMW guy (I get and keep mine plenty dirty). I'm just not into having a million advertisements all over the bike.

Do you guys that are complaining about the logo remove the badges from your vehicles, ask Nike to remove the swoosh on your shoes, grind KTM- Yamaha-Honda or whatever off of your side cases, remove branding from your helmet, rip tags off of your gear, cover the SCOTTS on your goggles? Have you asked any other manufacture to not brand their product? Probably not.

Think about it this way. What kind of company does not want their name on their product? I'll tell you. A company that makes cheap crap. Look at any top quality product. Is it branded with their name? Of course it is.

It's a piece of art and the logo is the artist signature. Get it?

What a profoundly dumb comment.
Try to understand that most people ordered or ordering a seat, didn't know if it's with or without the new unfortunate logo. It's about having a choice, and yes, I will pass on a product if it's ugly. No one here has said that SeatConcepts should NOT brand their products ... they are saying that the they don't like the appearance of the logo. Duh!

Unfortunately not yet. The Tenere market has gone soft after selling a whole bunch at first.
Have been expending valuable time on other projects.

This makes good sense, and I certainly appreciate this way of handling it.
