Hi Bundy - Any progress on my KLX 250 seat? I may have a ride opportunity in January.

Thanks

Mark and Dan,

Both seat molds are being glassed right now then off to upolstery shop. Will have finished seats shipped next week.

Hats off, been reading through your thread, your seats look great. A new taller comfy seat is on my short wish list for my 950 ADV. I was looking at the seat you did for Rapin Dog, are you going to do a taller version like his "R" seat? I can absolutely sympathize with RD on the achy knees part!

The plan is yes, for both the 950SE and the 950/990 ADV. But, and there is always a but, I am swamped and it is going to take a little time.
The response to our seats has been off the hook! But that means that I am very busy keeping up with orders while trying to come out with new models.
Keep this up, and I can quit my DAY job!

Keep up the good work!

The SE needs a better seat early next year, gonna use it for a Ironbutt attempt. IBA SS1600K. 1600 km in 24 hours.

Good luck to you and don't forget to take some Aleve with you

My best was 1800km in 18 hours on a K100RS which isn't a comfortable bike but I was younger then not sure how hard it would be now.

Keep us posted when you do it.

any low profile for KLX250S/SF?

Are you going to produce a low profile seat similar to the one for the DRZ400S/SM? I could use a 1-inch lower seat on my KLX250SF but I don't want it wider at the front/thighs, just slightly stiffer foam. The stock seat actually works pretty well for me, just a little bit too tall and a little bit too soft.

Thanks!

Question Hey mxbundy

are you interested in taking on a KTM 990 SMT seat. I can probably provide you with a seat.

We are making a mold for that bike, but it will be like all of our other products, alittle wider for comfort. However I could cut one down for you on special order when the mold is complete.

Sure, but at the present time we are booked solid with mold projects, maybe in a couple of months?
