KTM 620 with fcr 41 wisdom needed

What's up guys. Been forum crawling here on advrider for a while and finally decided to join this awesome community of info bearing peoples. So now I come in need of advice.... I'm currently on the last leg of a resurrection of a 1995 KTM Rxc
620 that's spent the majority of it's life chillen in a garage. I've gone through all the steps as follows: flushed coolant, changed oil and filters, removed clutch cover to replace crank seal (seal was still good), cleaned gas tank, removed dellorto and replaced with an fcr 41 from sudco.

I got everything reassembled and now my question: before the fcr I had to follow the steps mentioned on here with the decomp lever technique to kick over this compression happy engine. Now with the fcr installed, the decomp lever is not needed to push through a stroke. It has a decent amount of resistance on the kicker but nothing like it was with the dellorto(jumping up and down on kicker and it doesn't go no where). Is this a design in the Fcr thats supposed to make it so easy to strart? (Besides the ac pump) Or am I having a serious chamber leak thats gonna make me want to go play in traffic? Bike only got 1,400 miles.
