Oooh what a nasty dreary day~
Headed up to the Newport MX for a little trials in the rain. The plan was to throw the ATV in the pickup and head up there... but alas, ATV needs a new battery.. I think.  Watched the 2nd round of the Beginner/Novice or was it just the firs (?)t withOUT the camera..  FAIL! But caught up with the Advanced/Experts after lunch: My camera crew:  A little soggy but at least they were OUTSIDE! Lamotovita.... tried to get a jump start on me...  ha ha... nice try but the camera is quick too! Okay no more blabbing aside from it was a slick, slimy trail that got trickier as the rain came down:     and here we have Michael in his REDNECK coat....  that's what he called it!  King of the hill...     The King of the Hill position is getting a little crowded...  Time to move on...   Look closely there's a rider up there...     Sweet!     A few Uh-Oh moments:     This section just got nastier and nastier by the raindrop.   Michael (sans Redneck Raincoat)      End with a little nature:  Hope the next competition is a little drier!!! Amazing job on the dirt and moss snot!
