I did stop here for a few minutes ![]() [IMG] [/IMG]The Hill AFB Museum [IMG] [/IMG]the B1-B Lancer, really beautiful lines [IMG] [/IMG]"Haggarty's Hag", was one of the last B-29's in service [IMG] [/IMG]One of my favorites, this little P-51 is in flying condition (tucked under the B-17's wing) [IMG] [/IMG] Lots of other planes.....let me know if you didn't/wanna see a favorite

This one is worth the trip. Lots of great stories from all the old vet/vol guys hanging around this place too.

A couple more from Wednesday:
[IMG] [/IMG]Skyraider- I knew a fine vet who flew these in Vietnam. He didn't say much about it, but he was still in love with this plane. Said they were the toughest birds in the sky. [IMG] [/IMG]Very cool F-86. The open side panel shows John M Browning's contributions [IMG] [/IMG]Front [IMG] [/IMG]Rear. This rare one still smells like jet fuel [IMG] [/IMG]A wild weasel version of the thud [IMG] [/IMG]A (captured) Mig 21

The Devil's Slide used to spook me as a kid. Mostly the name I guess. My old man would call out from the front of the car "look kids... the Devil's Slide"! I could never see much as we passed. I only saw big rocks, and never did I see a little red man with a pokey tail and pitchfork.
![]() Cool picture huh! Probably from around the time that bridge was built.

Evening all-
A few shots of "Utah's Biggest Hole" -Bingham Copper Mine. One of the few man made/created objects visible from space I'm told. In any case, it's huge. [IMG] [/IMG]Giant Tonka trucks running around (I think post-blast, "loosen and load" mining) [IMG] [/IMG]Zoomed in on the distant action stuff [IMG] [/IMG]THe eastern side, each of the "steps" are 75-100 ft as I recall.

Holy Crap...
Those dump trucks are huge and look how that scoop shovel/crane dwarfs that sucker. That's some big assed equipment.
Thanks for your RR Signal and I hope you and everyone else out there had a great Thanksgiving, pass the pie,
