Great pics! Utah seems so prehistoric.

Got any pics from inside the Hollow Mountain store?

And what camera are you using?

No inside pics of the store. In reality, it's not the most clean/organized place (but that sort of adds to it). THere are a few low hanging rocks for those over 6'.

All pics have been with a really simple Cannon powershot, point and shoot, that I pull out of the tank bag

Down between Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon lurks Highway 12

[IMG][/IMG]
Just outside Bryce a bit

[IMG][/IMG]
The rain picked up through the river bottoms

[IMG][/IMG]
Over a summit, across the rock face

[IMG][/IMG]
the twists are like motorcycle disneyland

Edit: more Hwy 12 later

Fair enough, Dave........More Hwy 12

[IMG][/IMG]
What's not to like about this

[IMG][/IMG]
Red to White

[IMG][/IMG]
Back to Red (Between Escalante and Boulder) down...

[IMG][/IMG]
Up.......

Now, for the truly bizzare- I give you "The Hog's Back"-
A short 1 mile section before the climb up to Boulder Mountain, that has severe drops on BOTH sides (really odd to ride, having no background, some of the turns sort of get lost in the horizon)......

[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]
Kinda tough to get the scale in a photo, but you get the idea

[IMG][/IMG]
A view off 9600 foot Boulder Mountain (the clouds really limited sight distance this day)

For this evening's entertainment: Highway 95 (Blanding to Hanksville)

[IMG][/IMG]
Just a few klicks out of Blanding, up and over- then hard left

[IMG][/IMG]
Then some gentile twists over the petrified dunes...

[IMG][/IMG]
Brings us to Natural Bridges

[IMG][/IMG]
Lots of stuff going on, geo-logically

[IMG][/IMG]
See what I mean

[IMG][/IMG]
Back and heading north, the weather gets ugly toward Hite ...Stopped to zip up

[IMG][/IMG]
Just to prove how crazy the weather in UTardia can get (turns quick)- this is actually a pic to the right taken at the same time as the pic above

[IMG][/IMG]
Hite overlook of rainy eastern lake powell (way down there you can see the Hite bridge)

[IMG][/IMG]
Just to the right to Hite

[IMG][/IMG]
It did clean off the GS

Thanks for playing

Assuming you still wear the 'stich I will have to keep an eye out for you in my travels. Seems like we ride the same stuff quite often! If you see a Wee with a yellow pelican case for a top bag that is moi, flag me down.

Digg'n the photo by the way. Keep them coming.
