Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity

Update from this year.

Well I admit I haven't been updating this season since I haven't race much. Kind of burned out but Haley has had a fantastic year! The addition of cross fit classes 3 times a week didn't hurt her either. She has had much competition in the Junior Girls class this year and one young lady in particular and her have traded 1st place back and forth and driven her to get faster.. She's excited about racing again and that's worth all the $ in the world! We will be lining up together in 2 weeks as shes trying her first enduro...let the smack talking begin!

Troy,

thanks for the update. Looking back at the old pics, it seems both of you have really gotten in much better condition because of the racing - either from it or to do it. Is this just my imagination?

Troy, not at all what you want to hear, but after my son saw Haley's photo, he's reconsidering racing MX this year, seems he's taken an interest in Hare Scrambles & Enduros.......

Oh, how fast they grow up.

Hey DC! yes Haley has been busy maturing into a fine young lady via going vegan and cross fit training 3 days a week (I hate her ) I managed to get my gallbladder removed so now most things don't stay inside for too long so I can't take credit for the weight loss..

yea there does seem to be an innate number of "A250" riders hanging around Haley on race weekends..C riders need not apply

Last week was the 39th annual Straight Arrow enduro. It was Haley's first enduro and boy did we pick it...mud! Miles of swamp filled jeep roads and black sandy mud. I managed to make it 10 miles before picking a wrong line and drowning the bike. As I was directing traffic to high ground who should show up but Haley !!! I was sure she would have been stuck sooner but she looked determined as she disappeared out of sight with the rear wheel slinging mud and water flying. She ended up making through 13 miles of that crap to the first check but hour'd out. So proud of her as 18 bikes got stuck in the first 3 miles and now when she sees mud at a Hare Scramble sh'll just laugh.

Video of first 5 miles or so. Golden Master "A" rider's helmet cam.
