Fair call, the ultimate camoflage can be hiding in plain sight.

I'll be on the lookout for the unique white beast.

We were 20 miles from the end of the WABDR when Stefan hooked up the pannier on the 1200 on a tree sticking out on the side of the very overgrown track. Down he went like a sack of potatoes, thought he might have shattered his right arm, but 'only' dislocated it and chipped the bone.

And just when you need the sat phone to work to call 911 you find they don't work in dense washington pine forest. Had to leave him looking very sick, go to the top of the ridge, where I still couldn't get coverage, but luckily 3 minutes later a rider on KTM990 rode past with a Spot. Hit the 911 button and it worked a treat. Within half an hour we had firies, search and rescue, county cops, federal cops, and some others we couldn't identify on the scene.

So spent the rest of the day and night organising tow truck for the bike, and getting to the town the ambo had taken him to. He's out of hospital, and we will work out tomorrow what we do for the next week. He's talking about hiring a car and driving with one arm, mad bastard.

Beginning to think I might have a 000 jinx, what with Annaliese on the Pooncarie ride, and now Stefan on this one.

More news as it comes to hand.
Cheers
Pete

Take care.

Uncle Sochiro sent my part from sunny Nippon a couple of days early (yay! ) and BabySilla cleaned a small patch of concrete apron for me to work on, so WifeSilla willing (I did my chores today ), I will resurrect the XR tomorrow. So watch out you poofters.

Back to the Crows and the Swans (wankers) now.

Davo's from the other side of town Trev, so he hasn't got a clue. Forgiveness works for me.

So the twins are calling it a day after this season eh? We certainly got our money's worth though.

Here's praying I get to see them in October.
