Couldn't afford a 'GSA', so now it's an 'XSA' "I didn't do it! & whoever said I did, is a liar!"

Hey all

How's everybody doing? Me I'm just fine thanks for asking. Bit bummed though that I can't seem to swing any leave for rallys after the big trip. It's like they want me at work all the time or something, sheesh. I'm living RDO to RDO for awhile as far as leave goes. All going to plan I should make the TTT. If I'm really really good maybe even the DR Muster. Fingers and toes crossed.
Cheers

You are definately coming to the 'Muster' & 'TTT', needed to be there even if it's only to help with the firewalkers & tentsmashers!, & to defend the 'Log of Knowledge'!!!!

A great night was had at our Country Estate...'Chateau Dirty Dennis'
I should have a picture of the inmates that were there (come on Skygazer, tell your daughter that I am still waiting)......

While we are waiting I will post this picture up just to pre-empt a few mean friends that want to pull the piss.........

Looked like a bowl of sugar to me
You would think that the bottle of tequila and the limes might have tipped me off My excuse is that it was still dark due to a power outage and I might have been a bit slow this morning.
Totally ruined my morning coffee though

Stop laughing Dennis and ferals5

After Badja FT, down Woila Ck to Belowra and on to Nerigundah, and then zig and zag into to town, avoiding the st, of which there is some good stuff down there. Sunday will be back into the bush up Wadbilliga, maybe via Peak Alone, if we can get through, and then Numeralla, Inaloy to Jerangle, and then into Tally and onwards north.

Although none of the planned route is hard or technical, beyond perhaps a couple of very short sections of G3, there are very few transport sections, so cumulatively, it can wear people down, but we have options. No guns, but likely to a be a knife available if you need it.

Or it might be another route...........

Its a min 300 km fuel range and bring lunch both days, and organise your own bed at Narooma. We are staying at the park on the beach and will liely be fed and watered at the Golf Club up the road.

This is nominally a DSMRA ACT ride, but I note its not on the calendar as such. I haven't been organising it, but if someone is keen to join in, I guess it'd be OK (subject to confirmation).

We all had an excellent ride this weekend just gone. The wet meant that we bailed on Tally on Sat, and headed for the coast via the Braidwood Bakery and Araluen. Once over the edge, it was mostly dry and excellent riding. Got to the cabin by 17:00. Day 2 was as above, and home about 16.30. Top ride.

For those who couldn't be there ...

Any interest in a ride this Thursday (6th)?

I haven't given it a great deal of thought, but perhaps meet up at Hoskinstown at 9:00am then either:

(a) through Tally to Cooma for lunch, then back via Namadgi ...

or

(b) through Tally to Araluen for lunch, then back via Reidsdale and Charley's Forest ...

Haven't done either of these for a while ...

Should be nice now after a bit of rain ...

Let me know if keen ...

Big thanks to our hosts for the night, Mr and Mrs dirty dennis.
Great time had by all. Had the usual 'crowd killer' fireworks
You could tell who had been to them before as they were the ones that stood well back....

Hint - will have an XS650 for sale come September [hopefully]
No; not 'Kenny' or 'White Beast', just one that's been a few years in the making
Cheers
