Couldn't afford a 'GSA', so now it's an 'XSA' "I didn't do it! & whoever said I did, is a liar!"

Those goats were not little. I swear some were almost as tall as me.

I'd much prefer running into a nice soft, warm sandbank than one of those horny blighters.

Add brake snakes to your rear brake and gear leavers, this will stop them bending too far out they are easy to make from old clutch or throttle cables.

Then put Teflon Tape under your clutch and front brake leavers, they will stay in place for use but will spin and absorb the shock when you hit the ground, this not only saves on leavers but can save the mirrors (if used) and the mounts too.

Really enjoyed seeing all those great places again. Thanks.

The pic from the top of Mount Harry reminded me that of the half dozen bikes and three 4WDs around when I was there only a KTM 950 and a 4Runner got up.

Also, on Tuesday 30 July I picked up a near new pair of Nike shoes with socks in a plastic bag on the Walkers Crossing Road not far from the Birdsville Track. I'm guessing they came off a bike. Anyone who can tell me the size and colours can have them back.

Canberra to Bathurst

Hello everyone,

Need to go to Bathurst in a few weeks just for the weekend. The bloke there is telling me to go Goulburn, Taralgon, Blacksprings, Rockley way from Goulburn.

I'm not looking for an adventure, in fact I would probably take the blacktop through Yass, Cowra and Blaney for this trip otherwise. I am also undecided yet about taking the 4WD or the F650GS Dakar. But this guy reckons it's heaps quicker than than my normal road route? Google says it's nearly an hour longer, and the same distance. (276km vs 295km on Blacktop) So I'm buggered if I can work out how it could be quicker?

Does any one have any recent info on this route that's been suggested through Abercrombie?

Thanks,
G.

I'd go Gunning-Crookwell-Tuena-Trunkey-Bathurst. Straight up, little bit of good dirt around Tuena. Fastest way to Bathurst IMO.
Cheers
