I'm after a long range tank and believe the Safari tanks are a very good brand...though not cheap.
Safari are offering a discount if you buy 2 tanks at once and send to the same address. I haven't enquired to the discount yet and I'd probably get a discount from the local dealer having bought 2 bikes from them last month. I'd haggle for a better discount either way if there are a few takers. I'm happy to progress this if anyone is interested? POM. |

I'll put it to Drewus. He has been putting off getting a big tank for his DR650 until the weather warmed up so we can go for longer rides.

Monday Ride
Righto, the plan for monday is thus: We'll meet up at Macca's in Queanbeyan and head out toward captains flat, with the aim of getting to the top of Snowball. Hopefully, we'll meet Rossco and Fish + hangers on coming up from Benny. Going on previous occasions there might be a few who will be happy enough not to tackle the merricumbene on the way out.
The idea would be that we will follow the same path away from Canberra as the blokes who are coming back - the paths should cross at some point! If not, then that's the way it goes. It'll be a fairly straightforward route - nice scenic dirt roads. If there's time on the way back and the mood is right there are plenty of nice trails between Snowball Rd and Captains Flat. Or - we might go down snowball itself. Any takers? ![]() Rossco/Fish you blokes have a notion of when you are leaving on monday? |

Stu, I expect we will go either Jerrabattgulla FT and white ash road/south forest way or Cowangerong/Flat range FT. or if we are too strung out then the road, what's your thoughts?

I'd be keen for a run out Captain Flat way on Monday but I think the missus wants to go to Floriade.
![]() But since it's supposed to rain on Monday, I might be able to get out of it. The plan was meet QBN Maccas right?
