Short chillie run
My daughter wants me to send some red chili ristrias over to her. She lives in Minneapolis MN. So for the past few weeks I would ride down to Espanola to check on the chili harvest.
Yesterday the chili stand was full of bright new ristrias.
So I loaded up the truck and headed home.
Once home I had to hang them up to dry. If I sent them north without drying they would rot.
Each ristria is 3' long. Some chilies came loose on the way home. I will hang them later today.
I always like fall colors around the house. These ristras look great on the house. later when she grinds them they will add some kick to whatever it is that she is cooking.
As we age we tend to become more direct in our thoughts and actions.
For me laundry day is no longer Wishy Washy day.
