Went on a ride to help a friend break-in the engine on his new 690 Enduro (his old bike was stolen about a week earlier).

That's the Touratech stainless pannier rack (well, part of it): http://shop.touratech.com/pannier-ra...-enduro-r.html

Bashplate is made by Guard-it Technology: http://www.adventure-spec.com/defaul...m-690-e-r.html

Two items I installed as well on my '12 that have survived the Mayan apocolypse. I have a sneaky feeling they both will also outlast Keith Richards as well.

Sturdy kit for sure!

Thanks Oldbear and Dirty.

Here's a pic of my new 690, picked it up on Friday last week and 3 days and 450km later it feels lighter already.

Santa was good to Me this year! Just fitted Guard-it technology bash plate, Cycra Pro Bend CRM Handguards & a Renazco Ergo Seat in full Black Suede.
Bash Plate was a breeze to fit & the quality is awesome,Not too noisy & looks great in Black. Hand guards were fairly easy to fit with a bit of tweaking here as there as the CRM mounts fouled on the Scotts Underbar Damper mounts. The Renazco seat is the ducks gutz. I got lucky with the seat when I contacted James with a few questions about his seats. He had just had a seat returned to him as it was too tall for the guy that ordered it, so I jumped on it at a reduced price, Seat base & all.Total time from Email to riding on My new seat was 6 Days so I cant speak highly enough of the Renazco brand. James & Sonia were very helpfull & the seat is just as good as everybody says they are. Top quality!
Happy Dayz!!
Creedy.

Are you able to tell me what the overall outside/fitted width is of the TT pannier racks at the rear please? Just trying to find out if the TT racks are narrower than the RR racks.

Cheers

Awesome, thank you for that. TT racks are narrower by about 4cm then.

Yep, I prefer to use furlongs as a unit of measurement.

The max width of the TT racks I have mounted measure 0.00239899 furlongs, but for the imperialist bastards out there, this converts to 19 inches.
