Nice! I miss ice racing. I've never been on a 690 on the ice.. only a kx250 2-smoker. I bet its pretty epic. We want action shots!

RallyRaid Evo-2 Tanks

Has anyone fitted the new Evo-2 tanks from Rally Raid UK?
Without the Adv of rally fairing – i.e. with the RR tank shrouds only?
If so, could you provide some pics? From each side, and from the rider’s perspective.

Ladies & gentlemen I present

Ginger

She is a heartless She Devil that will drain the life right out of you. All the while putting a huge grin from ear to ear on your face.

I picked up Ginger yesterday from Santa Barbara Motorsports. She has 8800 miles on her. Looks like most all pavement. (That will end very quickly)

I finally got to take her for a little spin. Fun experience.
I was happy to find the PO had done plenty of farkle work and mods for me. Still plenty more on the list.
I pleasantly noticed how light the girl feels.
The FMF muffler is already on order. She is way too soft spoken for my tastes.
I won't be able to put much time into her for a few weeks with races etc. I'll just take this time to get all the parts together.

Got myself a farkled 690R

Very nice ride, got to be the lightest bike ever had, if only it was a v-twin with this weight...

That is very nice, can you post a shot of the handlebar riser set up? looks pretty trick.

The ice is sooo much fun! Great video, nice open track. Our tracks tend to be much tighter and technical with a few good straight sections.

Sorry, don't have it. The risers were removed, i felt the steering with too much height and too prone to twist on a fall. Also it felt a bit like those harleys with extremely high bars. Good for standing ride though...
