Another option is B&B offroad here in Australia, I have used their parts on a few bikes in the past with no probs

No, it's the "Bergische Land", a low mountain range 50km east of Cologne.
Nice Landscape here, but pretty crowded (like almost everywhere in Germany...)

I wonder how much this would be shipped to the US?

Looks pretty good.

2013 KTM 690 Enduro

Picked up my 2013 KTM 690 Enduro today

First impressions after coming off a DRZ400E

Well I especially got the KTM Airbox, Mapping, and Akrapovic fitted by TeamMoto so that it would come from shop running sweet, and guess what, it ran like a dream.

Not sure what all the comments about gearbox ratio too close, man you should ride a DRZ then you'll know close, the gearbox is great, don't think I got anywhere near 6th, on the DRZ I would have looking for 2 more gears by then.

KTM Airbox, that things pretty noisy.

Akrapovic, I was worried it would be too noisy, it's sweet with DB Killer in.

Jerky throttle, not from my perspective, will have to confirm after a bush run but seems sweet.

Well now it's run in and Farkle time, rear rack and small bag, bash plate, radiator guards, and we will see what else.

Oh an TeamMoto got a new Map set in yesterday, just in time for my bike

One more thing for TeamMoto, when you deliver bikes in Aus, set speedos to KPH not MPH, lucky I realised as I thought it was a bit fast in a school zone.

Well done ridewithme!

You will love it. The more I ride my 12 690 the more I love it. Stuck a touring screen on yesterday and what a nice diff it makes! Plus I now have a nice dash for GPS etc!

My only comment is it is criminal to ride these things on tar. They just love dirt!!,,,,

Fan the clutch in 3 or 4th gear and hang on!,,,,

Chris

Yeah I'm really tempted for the touring screen

Mounting a Laminar Lip made for the 640A on the front mask on a 690 makes for a very nice air deflector as well.

I've tried both on my '12 and I am torn between the two. The Laminar Lip being wider, gives me a wider area of wind protection and the wind hits me at the same height as the KTM Touring Screen.

Sticking the LL onto the Touring Screen gives me a low frequency whomp whomp whomping as the air hits the top of the helmet right around eye level.
