Can you tell me about the plastic box above your right side engine case, it looks bigger and better than the RR one

its a otter box that i mounted like the ralley raid one. it was 20 bucks at the local sporting good store. I put a velco strap around it as a precaution but i dont think i really need it, the 2 locking tabs keep the door closed very securely. over all im very pleased with how it turned out. Doesn't get in the way at all. Ive been through some pretty rough terrain and its held up way better than my expatiation's.

Dirtsquirt-we still gotta get together.

That's a sharp looking 690 you have.

I'm busy for the next two weekends though-Tiny D's first ever dirt bike race this weekend and a weekend Scout function next weekend.

How's the Tune ECU map treating you? What sort of mpg's are you getting

Dirty

That's the right way for Scorpions, the fronts do look weird - like they'd force water to the centre.

For the rear bolt at the engine support, did you use just a longer bolt with spacer compared to the fancy RR bolt?

here are a few pics. i used a piece of aluminum and bent it in the shape of a J for support. the left bolt goes straight into the frame mount and the right bolt goes to the front radiator mount. I used a T bolt on the right side to mount the aluminum support.

the pic of the back of the otter box was taken while mounted on the bike so the camera is under the box pointing up.
